Sandwiched between Exmouth and Paignton on the beautiful River Teign rests Newton Abbot, who’s racecourse is home to one of the Engish Riviere’s most established Boat Jumbles. The Boat Jumble, which is usually held in the spring and summer, is organised by Compass Events. Compass Events established themselves in the early 1990s and manage a few nationwide Boat Jumbles.

The Boat Jumble at Newton Abbot Racecourse provides buyers with a good selection of new and used items for boat and fishing. There are often car boot sale items on sale for added variety. Buyers are welcome to browse around, and ‘handle’ before purchasing, a significant advantage compared to used item online buying.

Look out for the A380 at Kennford and follow the road south towards Kingsteignton and Newton Abbot. Take the slip road right on to the A383 at the Teignmouth Road roundabout and follow the road approximately 2 miles to the racecourse site.
