Falmouth Boat Jumble

We are holding a CHARITY BOAT JUMBLE and if you would like a stall to sell your own bits or would like to donate anything for us to sell that would be great! 9AM SELLERS, 10AM BUYERS. Admiralty Quay (near public slipway), Mylor Yacht Harbour (Nr Falmouth). This is the first turning on the left as you enter the harbour by road.

Mylor Yacht Harbour is perched on the northern tip of the landmass that overlooks Dowr Carrek, the ancient estuary that joins the River Fal and The English Channel. The boat jumble, organised by the local Mylor Sailing School, is held on the hard standing carpark between the harbour and the inlet to Mylor Creek.

The Mylor Yacht Harbour is located right off the water on the west side of Carricks Roads. If you are coming in on the A39 look for your B3292 exit, from there, follow the road until you reach the Church Hill turn off on your left, from here turn right onto Bissom Road, after a short drive turn off Bissom onto Church Road, and this will lead you straight to the jumble!

If you plan an extended stay over the boat jumble day, why not hire (book in advance) a Self Drive Motor or Sail Boat from Mylor Boat Hire and cruise around the beautiful waterways - sail from the Falmouth Bay up the river Fal into Truro (dogs are welcome too!). If you are land bound, try Penryn Museum, Falmouth Art Gallery, Queen Mary Gardens or the magnificent Pendennis Castle - all within 25 minutes drive of the event site.

Accommodation In The Falmouth Area

Hotels and B&B’s can be found on the southern side of Carrick Roads, around Harbour Village, Ponsharden. From the Penmere Manor Hotel Georgian styled hotel to the Four Seasons Bed and Breakfast this area is cluttered with accommodations. Check out Melvill Road/A39 for a large cluster of hotels. If your travelling by caravan the Menehay Farm Touring Park offers pitches, and free Wi-Fi for customers and is located about 15 minutes from the event.
