Ipswich’s own Conference and Events Center host the annual Norfolk Boat Jumble. Trinity Park situated on the southwest side of Ipswich on the old Felixstowe Road are one-day event specialists and provide an excellent location for the Norfolk Boat Jumble. Organised by Rota Marine, this is one event not to be missed for Boat Jumblers in Suffolk and Norfolk. The Boat Jumble at Trinity is well established and a superb day out.

Directions To The Event

Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre is situated five miles South-East of Ipswich on the road to Felixtow. You can access Trinity Park from either Felixtow Road to the south or Bucklesham Road to the North. Head east towards Bury St Edmunds or Colchester depending on whether you are coming from the north or south - in either case, follow the signs towards Ipswich. Get on the A14 and exit at Junction 57 for Ipswich A1189, Nacton. Trinity Park is signposted at the first roundabout.

If you are interested in historic vehicles, try Ipswich Transport Museum on the road to Ipswich. The museum houses a good selection of vintage buses and trams. For a great view down the River Orwell head over the Orwell Bridge to the western side of the river and follow the B1456 south to one of the scattered lay-bys. Keep heading south and visit The HMS Ganges Museum at Shotley Gate. The HMS Ganges Museum displays thousands of historical items related to this famous gunship.

Accommodation In The Norfolk Area

Plenty of 3 or 4 start hotel accommodation around Ipswich or Felixstowe. An easily accessible 3-star Holiday Inn is just 10 minutes drive from Trinity Park, or for something a little more luxurious check in to Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, only 15 minutes out on the Wickam Market Road. There is something for the campers too, Toad Hall Camping and Caravan Park situated just off the A14. If you like the forest experience, try Forest Camping in the Orford Ness Nature Reserve - a good 30 minutes drive but perfect for a little piece and quiet!
